It is with profound sorrow, We the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary Inc stand along side the Wright Family as we announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Betha M. Wright,  who passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her residence.
We solicit your prayers for the Wright Family.

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Bertha was born on July 22, 1954, in Stuart, Florida to Mr. Hallie and Elizabeth Miley. She graduated high school from Martin County and went on to receive her degree in Early Childhood Education from Indian River State College. Bertha met the love of her life, Alex J. Wright, Sr., and they were united as one on September 3, 1973. In this union they were blessed to raise nine children together. Bertha’s family completed her, and she loved them fiercely and deeply. She had such a benevolent spirit about her; she took care of everyone as her own, and she always enjoyed spending quality time with her loved ones.
God called Bertha home to rest on November 30, 2021, while she was in the comfort of her earthly home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Hallie and Elizabeth Miley; brother, Harry Miley, Jr.; and son, Michael Kahn.

She will always be in spirit with: her loving husband, Alex Wright, Sr.; their children, Keith Holland, Alex Wright, Jr., Shalonda (Dave) Thomas, Tiffanie (Quay) Luong, Renita Roshina Hagins, Roshawn Worthen, Alexander Wright, and Christina Wright; 27 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lizzy (Mercy) Perry, Terrie (John) Robinson, and Carolyn (Ike) Winters; two brothers, Hallie (Mary Helen) Miley and Theodore Wright (Hazel); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 @ 11 a.m. at Sernity Christian Church. Pastor John H. Robinson Will officiate. Internment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Garden. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Gatlin Mortuary from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
