Mr. Cecal Alphonso Daniels was born in Thomasville, Georgia, on August 5, 1949, to Charlie and Mary Daniels. He attended the Valdosta city school system. He served in the Vietnam War as an Army Vet. He retired from the City of Valdosta. Cecal received Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Daniels; his parents, Mary and Cecal Daniels; his son, Kelvin Miller; and four brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Fanchon Simpson and Dutchess Williams (Cedrick), both of Valdosta, GA; three sons, Fredrick Keeling (Nicola) of Hape Mills, NC, Timothy Keeling (Ava) of Valdosta, GA, and Cecal Daniels (Renee) of Austin, TX; 19 grandkids, Andrew, (Marquita), Kelvin, Jr., Jackie, Charania, Kelya, Aaron, Asia, Jonathan, Aeryonna, Korey, Jada, Amber, Jamacy, Jaylin, Alisa, Camaron, Daniel, Caitlyn, and Kellen; fifteen great-grands; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lamar Daniels, Julius Daniels (Deloris), and Ricky Daniels (Gail); 4 sisters Alice Chandler Daniels, Sylvia (Sam) Brown, Patrica (George) Bryant, Bobbie (Kenneth) Lane; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Valdosta High School Performance Art Center @ 2 p.m. Pastor Jay Williams will officiate. Internment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
