Early one morning, before the break of day,

A gentle train came rolling his way.

No sound of sorrow, no whistle of pain,

Just heaven’s call on the morning train.

It stopped just long enough for his name,

A ticket stamped by grace, not shame.

Bound for glory, no more to roam,

The morning train carried Tyrone home.

King Jesus stood at the station gate,

With open arms and love so great.

“Well done,” He said, “your work is through.”

The morning train brought him safely through.
 

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Emmanuel William, better known to many as Tyrone. Tyrone was born on September 12, 1984, and peacefully departed this life on December 13, 2025.

Tyrone was a devoted husband and loving father, whose heart was rooted in faith, family, and music. He was deeply loved by many and left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. A gifted vocalist and musician, Tyrone had a true passion for singing in his gospel group and traveling the world hosting gospel concerts, spreading the message of hope and praise through song.

Recognized as one of the top musicians in Valdosta, Georgia, Tyrone’s talent and anointing touched countless lives. Though his earthly journey has ended, his legacy of love, music, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Homegoing Celebration will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Union Cathedral @ 3 pm. Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Gatlin Mortuary from 12 noon to 6 pm.
