Eva Portillo-Werts

Eva Portillo was born in Havana, Cuba, on January 25, 1958. Eva was the daughter of the late Anna Carmen Martinez and musician, Cesar Carmen Martinez. She was known by many people as “Ms. Eva.” She came to the U.S.A. in the early 1980’s, where she met most of her friends. She departed this life on October 6, 2021, in Valdosta, Georgia.

Ms. Eva worked at Elead, which is now known as CDK Global, for 14 years. She had recently been engaged to Mr. Karl Johnson of Adel, Georgia. Ms. Eva was a smart, intelligent, and very outspoken person. She earned a Bachelors and Master of  Arts in Psychology.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Brittany Portillo; her grandchildren, Jamari and Armoni, all of Valdosta, Georgia; her fiance, Karl Johnson of Adel, Georgia; and a host of friends, other family, and loved ones.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Pallbearers Cemetery at 2 p.m. Pastor Randy Jones will officiate.
