Gregory Zackery

With Sincere Sympathy, We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Gregory Zackery., who passed into eternal rest on Tuesday  June 16 , 2020.  He will truly be missed by his loving

Gregory Ralph Zackery was born on April 16, 1955, in Newark, New Jersey to the late John Will and Virginia (Rayam) Zackery. Gregory was a wonderful father and dedicated to his eight children and four grandchildren. He was a humble man who gave great advice and always took life one day at a time. Gregory was easy-going and loved to kick back while enjoying his favorite music and sports, or just enjoy the company of his children whenever they were in town. He received his education from New Jersey State High School and Miami-Dade College. Gregory was a devoted and dependable employee for over 20 years at Burger King Corporation as a computer operator and at Publix Supermarket as a stock clerk. He was called home on June 15, 2020, in Valdosta, Georgia.
His life will always be cherished in the lives of his children, Shaundria Parks- Brantley (Kelvin), Gregory Parks (Rachel), Shaqula Parks, Michael Zackery, Roshaunda Parks, Wendell “Corey” Samuel, Jasmin Zackery and Tariah Zackery; grandchildren, Yasmin Brantley, Amiah Brantley, Darnell Scott, and Anaya Samuel; loving companion, Annie Mitchell; siblings, Gladys Cooper, Richard Zackery, and Patricia Zackery; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Rayford, and brothers, John “Sonny” Zackery and Charles Zackery.
 
GraveSide Service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Bellville Cemetery 903 NW 26th Avenue Jennings, FL 32053 @ 11 a.m
