Beloved Henretta Donaldson was born on December 7, 1947, in Johnson Corner to the late Tommie Lee Mobley and Jerry Harden. Preceding her in death is her late husband, Walter Douglas Donaldson Sr. She was educated in the public schools of Toombs County. She shared her love to all who knew her and provided shelter to many in her community. She was a sweet, kind, and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Henretta was called home on December 9, 2021
She leaves to mourn, yet celebrate her life, a loving and devoted daughter, Georgia Lee Sheppard and son Walter Douglas Donaldson Jr. (Connie). 4 grandchildren: Lakeitha Gillis, Lakeisha Gillis, Cynthia Lewis (Jimmy), and Victoria Donaldson. 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Henretta also leaves 1 sister: Era McCall (Percy). 5 brothers: James Harden, Willard Harden, Clark Harden, Elijah Harden, and Thomas Harden (Carol). She Also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends that loved and cherished her dearly. She will be laid to rest near her late husband at Joe Howell Cemetery in Statenville, Ga.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Serenity Christian Church @ 11 a.m. Pastor Nicholas Gray will officiate. Internment will follow in the Joe Howell Cemetery. Public Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
