Horace Gosier Obituary

It is with profound sorrow, We the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary Inc stand along side the Gosier family as we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Horace Gosier,  who passed into eternal rest on Sunday  August 30, at Brightmoore Hospice in Griffin, Georgia.

Mr. Horace Wesley Gosier was born in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Henry Gosier, Sr., and Lena Gosier, on January 30, 1950. He was a man full of life and laughs. He was well loved by many, especially his Westside Family. Horace was also known by his family and peers as Wesley or Goat. He worked for the Valdosta City Sanitation Specialist and a Brickmason. He was preceded death by his father, Henry Gosier, Sr.; his sister, Helen Gosier; and his brother, Nathaniel Gosier. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Lena Gosier; six siblings, Diane (David) Silva, Aileen (Fredrick) Hatten, Levester (Henrietta) Gosier, Bobby Lee (Nancy) Gosier, Chester Gosier, and Henry Gosier, Jr.; daughter, Tangela (Jermaine) Williams; three grandchildren, Quiana Alexander (Jay), Raequone Harper, and Quentin Harper; a special nephew, Bernard Flucas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends. 

Graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Pallbearers Cemetery in Valdosta, Georgia.
