Ja’Kai Malik Graham

Are there rocking chairs in Heaven
where little babies go?
Do the angels hold you closely
and rock you to and fro?

Do they talk silly baby talk
to get a smile or two,
and sing the sleepy lullabies
I used to sing to you?

My heart is aching for you,
my angel child so dear.
You brought such joy into my life,
the short time you were here.

I know you’re in a happy place,
and in God’s loving care.

in Heaven’s rocking chair.

Baby boy Ja’Kai Maliq Graham was born on November 20, 2020 in Albany, Georgia. He departed this life on November 22, 2020. Ja’Kai is preceded in death by his great grandfather James Duncan. Ja’Kai leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents Janice Duncan and Jordan Graham. His grandparents: Glinda Hancock (Cory), Quinetra Graham, and Sammy Wakefield. His great grandparents:  Evenly Duncan, Lezel and Calandra White, Persie Harris (Carolyn). A host of cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends.

 Funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at the City of Praise Church at 11 a.m. Bishop James Smith is the Pastor and Pastor Jay Williams will officiate. Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday at Gatlin Mortuary from 12 noon- 5 p.m.
