In the heart of summer, a light has gone,  
A young soul with dreams, now forever drawn.  
A Seminole spirit, proud and true,  
With laughter and love, he brightened our view.  

His truck stood waiting, ready for the ride,  
Adventures and memories, with friends by his side.  
Though time was too short, his impact was deep,  
In the hearts of the loved ones, his spirit we keep.  
So we gather together, to honor his name,  

With stories and laughter, we’ll never be the same.  
For Jaylen will shine in the stars up above,  
Forever remembered, forever in love.  

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaylen Duran, who left us on July 20, 2025, at the age of 18. Born on May 23, 2007, Jaylen was a vibrant young man whose passion for life was evident in everything he did. He was an avid fan of the Florida State Seminoles, wearing his colors with pride and sharing his enthusiasm with friends and family.

Jaylen had a special bond with his truck, a symbol of his adventurous spirit and love for the open road. He was known for his infectious energy, kind heart, and the ability to bring a smile to everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we remember Jaylen, let us celebrate his life and the joy he brought into our lives.

Funeral services for Jaylen Duran will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.  at Jesus The Living Word of Deliverance in Jasper Fl. The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 p.m. at Jesus The Living Word of Deliverance. Final arrangements are entrusted to Gatlin Mortuary.
