Julia Mae Cooper, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her grand daughters on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at SGMC in Valdosta. She was born May 20, 1935 in Valdosta GA to the late Johnny B. & Mildred Robinson. She was preceded in death by her brother Fred G. Robinson and sister Johnnie Mae Berry. She was a 1955 graduate of Dasher High in Valdosta GA. She accepted Christ at an early age at Evergreen Christian Church. She was married to the late Herbert Morris Cooper. She is survived by 7 children Sharon Cooper, Sandra Peterson(Jimmy), Johnnie Bryant, Brenda Cooper, Micheal Cooper (Angela), Larry Cooper (Hope), Derrick Cooper; 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She also leaves to cherish her loving childhood friend Barbara Jean Ponder.
Graveside service will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Min. Brandon Colquitt will officiate.
