Lawrence Mosley

It is with profound sorrow, We the Owners, Management and staff at Gatlin Mortuary Inc., stand along side the Mosley family as we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Lawrence Mosley, age 55 who transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday Januaury 13, 2021.

Lawrence Dan Mosley was born in Homerville, Ga on July 31, 1965 to the late Rosa Lee and Ernest Mosley Sr. He attended Job Colp and graduated in Alabama. He was a mechanic who enjoyed fishing, making duck dressing, cooking, and dressed very well. Most importantly he overly enjoyed and cared for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his his parents,  sister; Johnnie L.Tomlin, brother; Noah Mosley, .

He leaves to cherish his memories of nine and a half wonderful years with Lorine L. Mosley. His six children, three daughters; Tyecia Mosley, Nina Sloan(Alabama) and Alexia Major(Bobby), four sons; Tyriq Mosley, Akeem Sloan(Talisa), Michael Sloan(Aaliyah), seven grandchildren, two sisters; Pastor Earnestine Brown(Isreal), Barbara Peoples(Ronald), six brothers; Ervin J. Mosley(Gloria), Ernest Mosley(Rebecca), Ulysee Mosley, Bishop Frederick L. Mosley(Debra), Albert Mosley and Lewis Sirmans, one uncle; Roy Mosley, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins, and friends. Special cousins; Tracey York, Johnne Miller, Malik Higgins, and Brenda E. Howell, special niece; Bridget Hunt, special nephews; Noah Mosley, Paul McGawley, and Jermain Dumpson, and a special friend; Alvin Fudge.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 12 noon at the City of Praise Church in Valdosta Georgia. Bishop Smith is the Pastor, and Bishop Frederick Mosley will officiate.

Public Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
