When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?

Remember the love that once we shared

It is with profound sorrow, we the Owners, Management and staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand along side the Battle family as we announce the earthly transition of Mr. Lennis Battle Sr.  whom passed into eternal rest February 4, 2023. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Union Cathedral @ 2 p.m. Rev. Wade S. McCrae will officiate. Interment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
