Mark Scott Loveday, Sr., was born on August 15, 1973, a twin to Matthew Loveday, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Aubrey K. Humphrey and the late Peggy Lane Loveday Humphrey. He was educated in the Valdosta City School System. He was preceded in death by his daughter and baby girl, Miranda Loveday; son, Joshua Bridges; brother, Kerry Humphrey; and sister, Beverly Loveday Bowman. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Tiffanie Loveday; eight sons, Mark Loveday, Jr., Corey Singleton, Craig Robinson, Jevonte Kempson, Devonte Hope, Corey Gee, Matthew Denson, and Darius Loveday; eight daughters, Kierra Smith, Shamelle Loveday, Rukeya Loveday, Destinie Little, Dahjanea Loveday, Jasmine Troupe, Kenyatta Williams, and Melaya Donaldson; eight brothers, Aubrey Humphrey, Jr., Edwin Humphrey, Sr., Michael Humphrey, Marvin Humphrey, John B. Loveday, Ronald Loveday, Michael B. Marshall, and Matthew D. Loveday; three sisters, Karen Humphrey, Sandra Humphrey, and Jessie Mae Humphrey; loving cousins, Teasa, Thomas, Kelvin, Kim, Vonda, Brian, Yves, Mitra, Travis, Trampis, and Terrence; a host of other nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; two aunts, Evelyn Ayinde and Molly Ponder; two uncles, Willie James and LarryLane; a special friend, Someka Cole; and his Louisiana and Tampa families who loved him so dearly.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the Pallbearers Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Matthew Loveday will officiate. Public Visitation will be held on Friday at Gatlin Mortuary from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
