Mr. Eugene Miller

It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside The Miller Family to announce their beloved:

Mr. Eugene Miller, age 86, was born July 7, 1937, in Hahira, GA, to Lee and Mattie Miller. He attended Webb Miller School. Eugene’s craft was carpentry. and he transitioned from this busy walk of life on Monday, September 25, 2023. "I moved from my old house. I moved from my old friends. I moved from my old way of strife. Thank God I moved out to a brand-new life."

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Mattie Miller; daughter, Gloria Miller; three sisters, Annie Mae, Arleta, and Lorene; and four brothers, Jim, Frances, Willie B., and Norman. He leaves to cherish: his loving wife of 62 years, Marvalyne Miller; sons, Anthony of St. Cloud, MN, Reginald (Tonya) of Adel, GA, Cavanaugh (Linda) of Valdosta, GA, and Andre (Sheree) of Valdosta, GA; daughters, Valerie of Hahira, GA, and Rosalind of York, AL; sisters, Louise Lawrence of Hahira, GA, Clementine Miller of Hahira, GA, and Beatrice Godfrey of Detroit, MI; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Miller’s Life will be remembered by family and friends, Saturday, September 30, 2023, 2:00 p.m. MAGNOLIA BAPTIST CHURCH - 409 West Main Street Hahira, Georgia. Reverend Tony Jackson, Pastor and Officiant. Interment will follow in the Miller Cemetary - Hahira, Georgia. Repast will be held back at the Magnolia Baptist Church, Hahira, Georgia.
