The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Now is the only time you own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in time. For the clock may soon be still.”
It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Young Family to announce the transition of their beloved:
Mr. Frank Young's clock since July 23, 1943 was too large for the shelf, So, it stood eighty years (80) on the floor. It was taller by half than the man himself, though it weighed not a pennyweight more. It was bought on the morn of the day that he was born, and was always a treasure; But on January 12, 2024, it stopped — never to go again —
Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM. From the First Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 517 North Oat Street, Valdosta Georgia. Mr. Young, will be laid to rest in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
