Our destination is a place far greater than we know. For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow. And when the journey finally ends, we’ll claim a great reward, and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord!

It is with profound sorrow that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Rayam Family to announce the transition of their beloved:

Mr. Gustus Rayam of Valdosta Georgia was born February 3, 1929. If I should die, and you should live, and time should gurgle on, and morn should beam, and noon should burn, as it has usual done; If birds should build as early, and bees as bustling go, — One might depart at option from enterprise below! Mr. Rayam placed his hand in the hands of the master and transitioned on April 27, 2024.

Celebration of Life Services are presently incomplete at this time, once details are complete our staff will announce arrangements on behalf of the Young Family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, as they process the loss of their beloved loved one.
