Mr. R.B. Smith

Mr. R.B. Smith, a devoted husband, retired United States Army serviceman, beloved father, grandfather, relative, and friend, peacefully transitioned from this life on February 5, 2026, at the age of 79. He was born on September 26, 1946, and lived a life defined by service, integrity, and love.

After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, Mr. Smith retired with honor. His deep love for his country was evident throughout his life, and he carried the values of discipline, loyalty, and respect both in and out of uniform. Those same values shaped him as a husband, father, and mentor to many.

Mr. Smith was known for his steady presence, wisdom, and willingness to help others. He lived with quiet strength and left a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida, where he will be laid to rest with full honor.

Though he has departed this earthly life, Mr. Smith’s memory will remain forever cherished by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
