Mr. Rickey Barron III

In Islam, death is not something to be sad about. It’s inevitable, but it doesn’t mean the ending of one’s life. Muslim tradition views all of life as one of Allah’s tests. It’s a way to show your faithfulness, strength, and compassion. It’s what comes after life that matters most. 

It is with profound sorrow, that we the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Barron Family, to announce the earthly transition of "Rickey".

It was as if God opened the heavens and lowered into the earth realm, Mr. Rickey Barron III, on Monday, July 27, 1998. Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember the joy, the laughter, and the smiles. So family, friends, dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am but as I used to be. Rickey departed this world on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. 

We would like to express our extreme gratitude for the overwhelming support and encouragement that has been extended to our family. It was an honor to share Rickey  with so many people who loved him. Please know that every gesture has been recognized and appreciated. Please continue to keep us lifted in prayers, as we navigate life without him.
