It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Kirkland Family to announce the transition of their beloved:

Scripture declares to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord… and hence Mrs. Angela Kirkland now rests with her Lord and Savior. She was born on April 08, 1965, and exchanged labor for her reward on November 27, 2023.  “I have finished now with this house of clay… please kindly, gently, lay it away.”

Life Celebration Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 @ Dayspring Baptist Church. Apostle James Smith will officiate. Internment will follow in the Pallbearers Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held at Gatlin Mortuary from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness…”
