Mrs. Darlene Williams

It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside this loving family to announce the transition of their beloved.

DARLENE WILLIAMS was born on March 10, 1966, to Jimmy and Bobby Jean Williams. She a proud graduate of the Valdosta High School Class of 1984. She later in life furthered her education through Valdosta Technical College, receiving a technical degree and certification. On Thursday, November 16, 2023, the Williams family bid a sorrowful farewell as, Mrs. Darlene Williams exchanged time for eternity.  

Do not stand by my grave, and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep- I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints in snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle, autumn rain. As you awake with morning’s hush, I am the swift up-flinging rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the day transcending soft night. Do not stand by my grave, and cry- I am not there. I did not die.

Life Celebration Services will take place Saturday, November 25, 2023, on the grounds of Pallbearers Cemetery, Riverside Road - Valdosta, Georgia, at 3:00 PM. Bishop JP Miller, Officiating.
