Gone from sight, but never from our hearts. A beautiful soul is never forgotten.
It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Huewitt Family to announce the transition of their beloved: Mrs. Janice Marie Huewitt.
Mrs. Janice Marie Huewitt of Adel, Georgia was born on Friday, January 18, 1957, to the late CP Milton and Winnie Williams. Mrs. Janice Huewitt transitioned to a place of NO MORE: no more pain and no more suffering, into the arms of a loving God on Friday, December 8, 2023.
Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I’ve found that peace at the close of day.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from The Victory Church 1619 North Lee Street, Valdosta GA. Pastor Jay Williams is pastor and will officiate. Interment will follow in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss! Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I’ve savored much, Good friends, good times, my loved one’s touch If my time seemed all too brief, Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief! Lift up your heart, rejoice with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
