It is with profound sorrow, that the Owners, Management and Staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand alongside the Houston Family to announce the transition of their beloved:

Mrs. Jeraldine Houston of Valdosta, GA., born on Monday, September 25th, 1950, and was truly inspirational and exuded a quiet strength. The "Peanut Lady" as she was affectionately known by the masses throughout the community.

Mrs. Houston “The Peanut Lady” was a kind, compassionate, accountable, dependable, and inspirational. Throughout her life she took things as they came by keeping an optimistic attitude seeing all the good that God had in store. On Sunday Morning, July 7th, 2024, she made her peaceful transition. She will be truly missed, and will forever be in the hearts of her loved ones, extended family, as well as the city of Valdosta, GA.

Celebration of Life Services are presently incomplete at this time, once details are complete our staff will announce arrangements on behalf of the Houston Family. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers, as they process the loss of their loved one.
