God gave the Jenkins family an angel, whose smile could light the dark. He gave him to them, to hold deep within their hearts. God gave them an angel, In the form of this precious baby boy. He gave him to them, to change their whole world. God gave them an angel, A special gift he gives very few. He gave them an angel, to touch the lives of many. God gave them an angel, now to keep the memories that will always make them smile. For the only problem with having an angel, is they're too perfect for this world.
It is with profound sorrow, we the Owners, Management and staff at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc. stand along side the Jenkins and Johson families, to announce the passing of:
Mykel Joelle Miles Jenkins was born on June 09, 2010, The Master directed his angels to descend and returned him to our Heavenly Father, on Friday, February 17, 2023, he succumbed to this earthly life.
Jesus loves me! This I know, For the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong; They are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so. Jesus loves me! This I know, As He loved so long ago, taking children on His knee, Saying, "Let them come to Me."
Services of Love for such a tiny but power little boy will be celebrated on Saturday morning, February 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM. From the sanctuary of the Greater Pleasant Temple Baptist Church, the caring and experienced professionals at Gatlin Mortuary, Inc.
Mommy please don't cry for me, tell Daddy to not be sad tell my brother and sister, to remember all the fun we had tell everyone I miss them, And I'll be watching over you. Don't shed a tear for me because, I'm not with you on earth any longer. But I'm watching over from the clouds, With the stars as my flashlight I know you'll miss me terribly, but we'll be together again you'll see. So, for now I'll wait for you in Heaven, While the angels take care of me.
