Being the oldest daughter and granddaughter, Mrs. Walker was relied upon to assist her parents and grandparents with the household and looking after her younger siblings and cousins while living in Graham Georgia.Over the years, she spoke fondly of all these memories.

Walker.  In 1952, Mr. and Mrs. Walker purchased their first and only home on W. 32nd Street.  Mrs. Walker lived in her home for 67 years until her health started to decline and she moved into the Edgewood Nursing home.

Mrs. Walker enjoyed a very successful and productive professional career.  After working for many years as a professional caregiver, she became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Brewster Hospital for many years.  She also worked at Baptist Medical Center.  She retired in 1985.

A Time to Die:  On Friday morning, November 19, 2021, God stretched out his hand and took his faithful servant to her heavenly home.  Without fear or reservation, Mrs. Walker took his hand and entered the glorious Kingdom of God.
