On February 23, 1999, a true champion and Angel was born to Dana Porter and Tabeus Robinson in Columbus, Georgia, who they lovingly named Tabeus Hasan Jamal Porter. Tabeus lived up to his parents expectation in every respect. He was kind hearted, gentle, respectful, and an absolute blessing to everyone he met. Tabeus attended and graduated from Hamilton High School in May of 2017. Later that year, he was accepted at Arizona State University, where he diligently pursued his academic goals. Tabeus possessed a humble spirit, protective disposition, wisdom, and knowledge far beyond his 22 years. Tabeus loved his family and enjoyed the many roles he served as son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and most of all, uncle to Hayden Green, Paisley, and Alayna Santiago, and Tashionna, Kailee, and Loren Robinson. He absolutely adored his nephew and nieces. His love and admiration for his mother and sister was limitless. The “LOVE” Tabeus gave to his family and friends was genuine, and in return, he received “LOVE” back from each and every one of them. Tabeus’s helpful demeanor was infectious. He delighted in helping others just to put a smile on their face. He believed in this mantra, “The greatest good you can do for another is not just share your riches but to reveal to him his own” by Benjamin Disraeli. Tabeus enjoyed learning and his wealth of knowledge was exceptional. Rather than keeping it for himself, he selflessly shared his knowledge with others. This was just simply who he was. His tender spirit, kind heart, warm personality, infectious smile, and contagious laughter will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew him. Tabeus Hasan Jamal Porter entered into eternal rest on March 26, 2021. He is survived by: his mother, Dana Porter; father, Tabeus Robinson; sister, Daya Robinson; maternal grandparents, Willie Porter and Joanne Porter; maternal greatgrandmother, Annie Mitchell; paternal grandparents, Charles Milner and Betty Robinson; uncles, Eddie Hodge, Willie B. Porter, William Porter, Reggie Porter, Andre Shrugs, Dante Milner, Leon Ross, and Tyrone Robinson; aunts, Evelyn McDonald, Mary Porter-Wilson, Deshante Porter, Florence Porter, Taneshia Robinson, Gloria Thomas, Tequila Porter, Jasmine Dyal, and Angie Hodge; great, great aunt, Mary Powell; great aunt, Vivian Delores Davis; a host of additional family members and many friends; and cousins, Shanna & Charles Davis, Micah Hodge, Mina Porter, Peanina Porter, Tangie, Fentrick, Trinity, Jestus McDonald, Zionique Watson, Mable, Yolanda, and Tameeka Thomas, Harmony Porter-Dyal, Clemons Ross, Monica Michelle, Deberan Ross.
