In the beautiful Island of Nassau Bahamas, a beautiful bouncing baby girl was born by the name of Verny Yevette John. Verny who was affectionately called (Baby)grew up in a christian home, where she was taught the Principles of God. Verny was a sweet loving woman of God with a very Kind Heart, a woman who prayed for many of God people. on March 3rd of 2001 Verny married the man of her dreams Kermit Smith, whom she was married to for 19 years. In 2004 Verny and her husband moved to the United States for a better way of life. Verny had many challenges with her health, battling in and out of hospitals for many years. Her husband Kermit took very good care of her through all of her sickness, he was very faithful to his loving wife, even to her last minute on earth. Verny Loved her husband very much, they were 2 peas in one hull. On Jan 27th 2021 Verny took her last breath while leaning on her husband, and went home to be with the Lord. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories A loving husband Kermit, father Deacon Willie John, her sister Jennifer Johnson, her brothers Samuel st John, Wilfred Baptiste, Apostle Claude st, Gerad,of Miami Fl. and her sister in law Shemicka Taylor. Her step daughter Renee Brooks, Special thanks goes out Apostle Corey Roberts, who came and Prayed with Verny two weeks before she died and family of Valdosta, Georgia. Apostle Derek Thomas , Prophet Elliot Munroe.. Prophet Everette Palmer, Evangelist Patricia Symonette Gary, Mother Brender Hunter, Apostle NoriMoore, Prophotess Tama Westberry, Bishop Robert Rocklear and Family, Prophetess Ladona Stevens, Min. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m at Joyous Praise Ministry. Apostle Cory Roberts is the Pastor, and Apostle Claude St. Gerad will officiate. Public viewing will be held on Friday, at Joyous Praise Ministries from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
