Viola Smith

Ms. Viola Louise Smith (Sally) was born March 10, 1947 in Madison, Florida to the late Viola Smith and Johnny Johnson.

She was converted at an early age and attended church at New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist of Madison, Fl. She attended school at Madison County Training School. She worked many years and was a dedicated worker at Metal Product and Madison Cleaners. She also volunteered her services at Madison Senior Citizens Center with passion serving others and a dedicated receptionist until her health begin to fail her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, serving others, fishing, shopping, taking trips, visiting family and most of all going to fellowship with other believers of Christ. One of her strongest family values were having gatherings so all of her family would come together which brought her so much "JOY"!

Blessed are they who knew her, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and child of God. Our Father and Savior called her home to rest on April 15, 2020, to continue her work and service in Heaven. Ms. Viola touch many lives young and old through her giving, serving, praising and her presence, affectionate smile and loving caring spirit. Blessed are they that served others. She was preceded in death by her mother Viola Smith, father Johnny Johnson, brother Jake Clarence Smith, Grandson Antwon Gibson, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

Ms. Viola leaves to mourn three loving sons; Stewart (Adrienne) Smith of Sarasota, Fl., Randy (Lillie) Smith and Michael (Margaret)Gibson both of Madison, Fl.; Two loving daughters Sandy (Johnny B. Givens) Smith of Madison, Fl., Calandra Gibson of Jacksonville, Fl. Four loving sisters Eunice Alexander, Catherine (Bennie) Murphy, Margaret Johnson and Juanita (Willie) Gallon all of Madison, Florida. She leaves to mourn her precious jewels twenty-six loving grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren, a special devoted friend Leroy Gibson and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

 Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Jeslamb in Madison Florida @ 1 p.m.
